Refunds & Returns Policy
At We Do Gas, we aim to provide high quality LP gas products, fittings, and accessories. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, the following returns and refunds policy applies.
1. Returns
Products may be returned within 7 days of receiving your order, provided that:
- The item is unused and in its original condition
- The item is returned in its original packaging
- Proof of purchase such as a receipt or invoice is provided
Returns must be made in person at our store.
Returned items will be inspected by our team before a refund or exchange is approved.
2. Non-Returnable Items
For safety and regulatory reasons, the following items cannot be returned:
- Filled gas cylinders
- Gas refills
- Used gas regulators, hoses, or fittings
- Any item that has been installed, connected, used, or modified
These restrictions are in place to ensure customer safety and comply with gas handling regulations.
3. Exchanges
If a product is defective or damaged, it may be exchanged for the same item within 7 days of purchase, subject to inspection by our team.
If the same item is not available, we will assist with a suitable replacement or store credit.
4. Refunds
If a refund is approved:
- Refunds will be issued using the original payment method
- Refund processing may take 3 to 7 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider
Refunds will only be processed once the returned item has been received and inspected.
5. Defective Products
If you believe a product is faulty or defective, please contact us as soon as possible. We will inspect the item and provide a repair, replacement, or refund where applicable.
6. Delivery Orders
For orders delivered by our team:
- Any missing, damaged, or incorrect items must be reported within 24 hours of delivery
- If an incorrect item is delivered, please notify us within this period and we will arrange a replacement or refund where applicable
7. Return Shipping Responsibility
If a return is approved for a delivery order, the customer may be responsible for the cost of returning the item unless the product is defective, damaged, or incorrect.
If the return is due to an error on our side, We Do Gas will cover the reasonable return costs.
8. Refund Processing Time
Once a returned item has been received and inspected, approved refunds are typically processed within 3 to 7 business days.
Please note that it may take additional time for the refund to reflect in your account depending on your bank or payment provider.
9. Consumer Rights
This policy is in accordance with the South African Consumer Protection Act (CPA). Nothing in this policy limits or replaces any rights that consumers may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
If a product is found to be defective within 6 months of purchase, customers may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund as provided by the CPA.
